Patrick O’Donnell’s solo show A CUBIST CHICK ATE MY BABY will be on view through July 4, 2016. Visitation is free and open to the public. Regular business hours are Friday from noon to 6 p.m.; Saturday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; or by appointment. The gallery will be open Monday, Independence Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

RESOLUTION is a group show featuring photo-based art created in the last year. Works include photography, collage, mixed media, painting, and photography. Show dates are January 15 through February 29, 2016.

GRAND OPENING OF ZEPHYR GALLERY, THE NEWEST CONTEMPORARY ART GALLERY IN HISTORIC SALEM, MA, SET FOR SEPTEMBER 12, 2015
SALEM, MA, AUGUST 20, 2015 – Zephyr Gallery opened this August and is the newest contemporary art gallery in historic Salem, MA. We represent artists mostly from the North Shore and New England, but also from Maine, Michigan, and New York. We feature painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, works on paper, wearable art, and jewelry.
Zephyr Gallery is pleased to present our inaugural exhibition WIND UP, a group show of artistic impressions of air and wind, throughSeptember 28, 2015. A public reception and grand opening will be on Saturday, September 12, 2015, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at ZephyrGallery located at 37 Turner Street in Salem, MA.
WIND UP brings together a diverse group of artists creating in various media such as painting, photography, sculpture, and wearable art. Of special note is an artist that has never exhibited publicly and a painting that honors the tenth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Artists include: james bird, Dan Browne, Jeff Dykes, East India Trading Company, Delia R. Faria, Elizabeth Fox, Wendy Howard, Leetie Lovendale, MBC ink, Christine Michelini, Mill 77 Trading Company, Pat O’Donnell, Vicki Ryer, Jon Sarkin, and David Stoffregen. With the exception of a painter from Maine, all of the artists are residents of Massachusetts, particularly Salem, Beverly, Gloucester, and the Cape.
Director Mary Beth Bainbridge exclaimed, “Opening Zephyr Gallery is a dream come true. I love being a cheerleader for the arts and enjoy giving artists a voice.” She has volunteered with several local art organizations, currently serving on the Salem Cultural Council; and has been an organizer with Salem Film Fest since its inception. Bainbridge studied art history and has worked in multiple roles in the art world, including the Peabody Essex Museum and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.
